The Avondale girls tennis team remained undefeated in the spring season with 2 league wins Monday and Tuesday. The Lady Jackets defeated Royal Oak 5-3 and followed that up by shutting out Farmington Harrison 8-0. Winning 2 matches included singles players Lily Pfieffer, Maddie Harrod and Emma White, and doubles players Annika Mann, Jodie Paczkowski
Thursday April 17, the Avondale boys participated in the OAA Gold Division nine hole golf tournament at The Links at Crystal Lake Golf Course. Other participants included Ferndale High, Farmington Harrison and Southfield A&T. Avondale High performed in impressive fashion. The Avondale Varsity Cheer team absolutely crushed it tonight at the OAA White League Meet! They took home a solid 1st place win and posted their highest Round 1, 2, and 3 scores in school history, as well as their highest total score in school history with a 761! Catch them back on the mats
CONGRATULATIONS Avondale High School senior and basketball player, Olivia Russell, nominated as ONE OF 18 Michigan Seniors to play in the McDonald’s All American Games! The final roster will be announced on ESPN on Jan 24th. Good luck Olivia and congratulations again!
